ENERGY Networks Integration for Urban Systems
The project intends to outline development models that enable Energy Communities and Energy Districts to carry out bidirectional exchanges with energy networks, offering energy and services to the regional\national system. Software tools based on optimized management algorithms, real-time simulation models and diagnostics of energy districts will be developed to identify the best technological and control solutions for energy production, storage and distribution systems. Some of the developed algorithms will be integrated into a hardware device for the control of energy systems. Software and hardware tools will be validated in a simulated environment and\or in a real environment on at least three case studies.
