Confindustria Emilia‐Romagna Ricerca (CERR), is the company of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna (the Federation of Emilia-Romagna Industrial Associations) specifically created to support the associated enterprises network in the area of research, innovation, technology development and technology  transfer. In this framework, CERR assists enterprises in their innovation paths via customized programs promoting collaboration, ideas diffusion and generation of knowledge also under the Open Innovation paradigm. CERR plays a key role in the governance of the regional High-Technology-Network, being involved in the technology platforms (Technopoles) all over the industrial districts of the Emilia-Romagna land, acting as a link between entrepreneurs, researchers, innovators, institutions. CERR is actively involved in many R&D Projects at national and international level. Overall, it represents more than 9.000 associated firms employing about 380.000 workers across all the major manufacturing sectors – Emilia‐ Romagna being the 5th European region for employment and firms in automation and manufacturing fields.

Partner's role
CERR will support the definition of specs related to microharvesting devices for predictive maintenance applications also providing information and access to different operational manufacturing environments within the associated companies networks as well as will contribute to dissemination and exploitation activities in strict connection with Electrolux and the otherSiNERGY partners.
